इन 535 में से 22 posts PwD के लिए, जिनमें 7 women, और 5 Sports Persons के लिए, जिनमें 1 woman, earmarked हैं। ये total के ऊपर अतिरिक्त पद नहीं हैं। चयनित candidates अपनी applicable social category में adjust होंगे।
PwD provision permanent disability 40% या अधिक की शर्त से जुड़ा है। Revised subcategory distribution और functional requirements official second corrigendum से मिलाएँ।
Qualification और Veterinary Registration
- Recognized university/college/institution से B.V.Sc. & A.H. या equivalent degree।
- Foreign university degree होने पर Veterinary Council of India द्वारा recognized required conversion certificates।
- Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1970 के तहत valid registration certificate।
- Indian citizenship और अन्य prescribed service eligibility conditions।
Odia Language Requirement
Candidate को Odia बोलना, पढ़ना और लिखना आना चाहिए तथा prescribed evidence routes में से लागू route पूरा करना होगा:
- M.E. School या higher examination में Odia language subject; या
- Matriculation/equivalent में non-language subject के लिए Odia medium; या
- Recognized institution से Class VII final examination में Odia language subject; या
- Specified Odisha education authority का M.E. standard Odia test।

Revised Age Limit: 21–42 Years
Second corrigendum के अनुसार 1 January 2026 को base age 21 से 42 years है। Unrelaxed DOB range 2 January 1984 से 1 January 2005 है।

SC/ST/SEBC reservation और संबंधित benefits Odisha की eligible categories के लिए हैं। Multiple categories के आधार पर अपनी ओर से सभी relaxations जोड़कर उम्र न निकालें; notified cumulative provision ही लागू करें।

Application Fee और Refund Rule

Paid examination fee उन candidates को refund करने का provision है जो written examination के दोनों papers में वास्तव में उपस्थित हों। केवल form भरना या एक paper देना refund condition पूरी मानने का आधार नहीं है।
Refund examination के बाद original payment mode में process होगा। Technical failure की स्थिति के लिए application में correct bank account details भी माँगी गई हैं। Account active रखें। Refund की fixed date notice नहीं देता।
Women candidates के लिए age relaxation है, लेकिन सभी women के लिए अलग blanket fee exemption नहीं दी गई है। Fee अपनी applicable category के अनुसार देखें।

New Exam Date के अनुसार Preparation कैसे व्यवस्थित करें?
यह suggested study approach है, official timetable नहीं:
- पहला चरण: Annexure-A की topic checklist बनाकर strong, weak और unrevised topics अलग करें।
- Daily rotation: Veterinary Science और Animal Science दोनों को नियमित समय दें।
- Practice: 200 questions के लिए 150 minutes वाला timed set करें और review का अलग समय रखें।
- Error notebook: गलत concepts, confused facts और time-consuming questions note करें।
- Final revision: New material जोड़ने के बजाय weak topics, previous mistakes और full-paper practice पर ध्यान दें।
Detailed shift timing और centre information admit card/official schedule से लें। Original notice Kataka/Bhubaneswar को examination location बताता है; exact allotted venue बाद की सूचना से confirm करें।
How to Apply Online
- OPSC official website खोलें और “Apply Online” चुनें।
- Advertisement 04 of 2026–27 — VAS/Additional VAS की सही entry पहचानें।
- Original advertisement के साथ सभी corrigenda पढ़ें।
- Registration/login पूरा करके सही qualification, registration, category और Odia-language details भरें।
- Required certificates, photograph, full signature और left-hand thumb impression upload करें।
- Applicable fee pay करें और bank details सही भरें।
- Final preview में revised eligibility के अनुसार सभी entries जाँचें।
- 30 September 2026, शाम 5 बजे से पहले final application submit करें।
- PPSAN/registration details, application printout और payment receipt सुरक्षित रखें।
केवल registration कर लेना final application submission नहीं है। Advertisement submitted details बदलने के लिए deadline के भीतर cancellation और fresh application की प्रक्रिया बताता है; ऐसी जरूरत हो तो portal instructions सावधानी से पढ़ें और नया valid submission complete करें।
Documents: कौन-सी शर्तें आसानी से छूट सकती हैं?
- HSC/equivalent DOB certificate, B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree और required marksheets।
- Permanent veterinary registration certificate।
- Foreign qualification के लिए VCI-recognized conversion record, जहाँ लागू हो।
- Grade-only result होने पर university का percentage/conversion certificate।
- Applicable Odia qualification/test certificate।
- SC/ST/SEBC certificate prescribed format में; SEBC certificate submission date से तीन वर्ष से अधिक पुराना नहीं होना चाहिए।
- OBC certificate, SEBC certificate का substitute नहीं है।
- PwD claim के लिए permanent disability certificate; temporary disability certificate स्वीकार नहीं है।
- Sports quota के लिए Director of Sports, Odisha का specified certificate/identity card।
- Ex-servicemen release certificate और government employees के लिए applicable NOC।
- Identity proof और uploaded photo की कम से कम चार matching copies रखें।
Government employees को Head of Office को लिखित सूचना देकर DV के लिए NOC तैयार रखना है। DV में online application hard copy, originals और prescribed certified copies लेनी होंगी। Notice copies पर निर्धारित declaration, full signature और date माँगता है।
