🎓 Educational Qualification
Computer Operator Grade-A
The notified essential qualification includes:
- A Bachelor's Degree from a University established by law in India, or a qualification recognised as equivalent by the Government; and
- A Diploma in Computer Science from a recognised institution OR an “O” Level Certificate issued through the prescribed DOEACC/NIELIT route; and
- 3 years' experience in the field of Computer Application.
Assistant Computer Operator
The essential qualification includes:
- A Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University/equivalent qualification; and
- A recognised Diploma in Computer Science OR prescribed O Level Certificate; and
- 2 years' experience in Computer Application.
Other things being equal, preference may be given to a candidate who has:
• Served in the Territorial Army for at least 2 years; or
• Obtained an NCC “B” Certificate.
🎯 Age Limit
For direct recruitment, candidates should generally have attained 21 years and should not have attained more than 40 years on the prescribed date.
Age relaxation is applicable to eligible SC, ST and other notified categories according to Uttar Pradesh Government rules.
🧾 PET-2025 Is Mandatory
This recruitment is being conducted through the UPSSSC PET-2025 → Main Examination system.
Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025, possess the required PET score card and satisfy the post-specific eligibility conditions can submit an application for this Main Examination.
The Commission states that candidates obtaining zero or less/negative marks in the absolute or normalized PET-2025 score will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
Cases marked Under Investigation (UI) or Provisional by the Commission in the PET result will be dealt with subject to the Commission's final decision and prescribed conditions.
📑 Main Exam Shortlisting — 15 Times Vacancies
Candidates will be shortlisted for the written Main Examination on the basis of their PET-2025 normalized score.
