📋 Key Features of the UPSSSC OTR System

The official notification outlines several important rules and features for the OTR system. Candidates must understand these thoroughly before beginning their registration.

📌 1. Mandatory for All Future Exams

OTR registration is mandatory for applying to any future Preliminary or Main Examination conducted by UPSSSC. The unique OTR number generated during this process will be used for all subsequent advertisements. Candidates who do not complete their OTR will not be able to apply for future recruitments.

📌 2. Permanent and Single Use

• The OTR is permanent. Once registered, the details are stored for future use.
• Each candidate is permitted to hold only one OTR number. If a candidate registers multiple OTR numbers, their candidature for any recruitment will be cancelled by the Commission.

📌 3. How to Apply for OTR

Candidates can apply for OTR in two ways:

• New Application: Candidates who have never applied to UPSSSC before can fill out a fresh OTR application.
• Using Prelims 2025 Registration Number: Candidates who previously applied for the Preliminary Qualification Exam 2025 can use their existing registration number from that exam to complete the OTR process.

📌 4. Mobile Number and Email ID

• A valid mobile number and a valid email ID are mandatory for OTR registration.
• Both must remain active throughout the entire recruitment process.
• Verification will be done via OTP (One Time Password) authentication. After completing the registration, candidates can also verify their email ID through the dashboard.

📌 5. Personal Details Required

Candidates are required to accurately fill in the following details:

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Father's Name and Mother's Name
• State and Home District
• High School Qualification Details
• Permanent Address and Correspondence Address

📌 6. Photo and Signature Specifications

Photograph Specifications:

• Must be a recent color photograph (taken within the last 6 months).
• File size must be between 50 KB and 100 KB.
• File format must be JPEG or JPG.

Signature Specifications:

• The signature can be in Hindi or English.
• English signatures written entirely in CAPITAL LETTERS are invalid.
• File size must be between 30 KB and 50 KB.
• File format must be JPEG or JPG.
• Mandatory: Candidates must write their own name in Hindi below their signature in their own handwriting.

📌 7. Accuracy and Finality

• All information entered must be accurate and match the candidate's official records.
• Before final submission, candidates must ensure all entries are correct and complete.
• Submission of incorrect or false information may lead to the cancellation of candidature.
• No modifications to the details are allowed after the OTR registration number is generated.

📌 8. Security Responsibility

The candidate is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their login credentials. The UPSSSC will not be held liable for any misuse of the registration number.
