The two-photograph requirement in the press note is specifically linked to cases where the candidate's photograph on the e-Admit Card is not clear.

📌 Reach the Examination Venue Well in Time

Candidates are advised to reach the examination venue sufficiently early for Face Authentication, Identity Verification and frisking.

Candidates should not plan to reach just before the gate-closing time. Allow enough time for travel, locating the examination centre and completion of all security and identity-verification formalities.

UPSC has stated that Venue Supervisors will not make arrangements to keep prohibited or valuable items. A candidate bringing such belongings will have to make his or her own arrangements outside the examination venue.

📌 Are Normal Wrist Watches Allowed?

Yes. Normal or simple wrist watches are permitted inside the examination room or hall. However, smart watches and watches fitted with accessories that could be used as communication devices are prohibited.
