Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech: Pursuing 7th/8th semester.
- M.Tech: Pursuing 3rd/4th semester.
- M.Sc (Physics): Pursuing 3rd/4th semester or IInd year.
- Academic Performance: Minimum 70% aggregate marks or a CGPA of 7.0 or above (on a scale of 10) in all previous semesters/years. You must provide a copy of your marksheets.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be below 28 years of age.
- Institution Recommendation: The Principal/Director of the college/institution must provide a formal request letter on behalf of the student, selecting only highly deserving meritorious students.
Stipend and Payment Structure
The internship offers a highly competitive monthly stipend of ₹35,000/-. The payment terms are structured as follows:
- Payment Schedule: The stipend is paid in two installments.
- First Installment: After the successful completion of the first 3 months of the internship.
- Second Installment: After the successful completion of the full 6-month tenure.
- Attendance Requirement: To receive the stipend, the student must maintain a physical attendance of a minimum of 15 days per month at the DYSL-QT premises.
- No Stipend for Early Exit: If a student leaves the internship before completing 3 months, no payment will be made. If they leave after 3 months but before 6 months, they will only receive the first installment.
- Certificate: A completion certificate will be issued only upon successful completion of the full 06-month tenure, including the submission of a project report and clearing the project evaluation.

Selection Process

- Undertaking for Official Secrets Act, 1923: A signed undertaking to adhere to the provisions of the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923.
- Undertaking for IT Rules: A signed undertaking to follow the IT rules and regulations applicable to the Ministry of Defence.
- Bank Details: Details for the transfer of the internship stipend.
- Medical Fitness Certificate: Certificate from an authorized medical practitioner holding at least an MBBS degree.
- Identity & Academics: Original Aadhar card, College ID card, 03 passport-size photographs, and original marksheets of all previous semesters for verification (originals will be returned immediately).
