💰 Compensation Package
Pay Scale (Deputy Engineer, E-II grade): ₹40,000 – 3% increments – ₹1,40,000, payable in USD.
In addition to Basic Pay: Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Facilities, Provident Fund, and Gratuity as per company rules.
Once posted to Agalega specifically, additional monthly benefits apply:
- Foreign Allowance: 43 USD/day

Tax note: If you stay in Mauritius for more than 183 days, your Mauritius-sourced income becomes subject to Mauritius Income Tax — this tax liability is borne by BEL, not deducted from you.
