What Is This Recruitment About?
Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) has released a Common Recruitment Exercise on behalf of five State Power Companies of Rajasthan — RVUN (the State Genco), RVPN (the State Transco), and the three distribution companies JVVN (Jaipur), AVVN (Ajmer), and JdVVN (Jodhpur) — to fill 2005 vacancies across three post categories: Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II. A preliminary short notice (Advertisement No. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/01) was issued on 24 June 2026, with the detailed advertisements (No. 02 for Junior Engineer-I, No. 03 for Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II) published thereafter.
Candidates may apply for two or more different posts in this recruitment, but cannot submit more than one application for the same post. Applicants must also indicate their preference of Company (RVUN/RVPN/JVVN/AVVN/JdVVN) in the application itself — this preference is final and irrevocable.

Age Relaxation

The fee is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward or reserved for any other recruitment. Bank transaction charges for online payment must be borne by the candidate. SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidates belonging to a state other than Rajasthan will be treated as Unreserved (General) for fee purposes.
Selection Process
There is no interview for any post in this recruitment. Selection is entirely test-based, with the pattern varying by post:
Junior Engineer-I (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil)
- Single Computer Based Test (CBT), 2 hours, Objective Type (MCQ) only
- Part-A (60% weightage): Degree-level questions from the respective engineering discipline
- Part-B (40% weightage): Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics (Class XII level), General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General, English General
- Negative marking applies for every wrong answer
Junior Accountant
- Single CBT, 2 hours, Objective Type (MCQ) only
- Part-A (60% weightage): Corporate Accounting, Income Tax, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting and related subjects, at Graduation level
- Part-B (40% weightage): Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics (Class X level), General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General, English General
- Negative marking applies for every wrong answer
Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II
- Phase-I: Pre-Examination (screening only, no weightage in final merit) followed by a Main Examination — both CBTs covering Reasoning & Mental Ability, Mathematics, General Knowledge & Everyday Science, Hindi General, English General
- Phase-II: Typing Test in Hindi and English on computer (Speed Test and Efficiency Test)
- Final merit: 40% weightage to Phase-I (Main Examination) marks + 60% weightage to Phase-II (Typing Test) marks
- No negative marking in the Pre-Examination; negative marking applies in the Main Examination
Minimum qualifying marks (all posts): 30% for UR category, 20% for SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen/PwBD categories. Question papers (other than Hindi General and English General sections) are bilingual — English and Hindi.
Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates are initially engaged as "Probationer Trainee" for two years, receiving a fixed monthly remuneration during this period. On successful completion of probation, pay is fixed at the minimum of the corresponding Pay Matrix Level as Basic Pay.

Yes, for JE and Junior Accountant CBTs, and for the Junior Assistant/CA-II Main Examination. There is no negative marking in the Junior Assistant/CA-II Pre-Examination (screening stage).
