- FTSS/PTSS (Oncology): MBBS and MCh/DM/DNB in Medical Oncology
Note: If no eligible Super Specialty candidate applies for the Oncology post, a specialist with MDRT/DNB RT or Diploma in RT (minimum 3 years' experience for degree holders, 5 years for diploma holders) may be considered in the specialist scale.

Qualification: MBBS and PG Degree or equivalent in the concerned speciality. For ICU: PG Degree/Diploma in Critical Care/Anaesthesia/General Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. For Casualty: preference to postgraduates in Critical Care; if a Critical Care specialist is unavailable, PG Degree/Diploma in Anaesthesia/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine or Paediatrics may be considered.
Experience: FTS (entry level) & PTS — PG Degree with 3 years' experience, or PG Diploma with 5 years' experience, in the respective specialty after PG. FTS (Senior Level) — PG Degree with 5 years' experience, or PG Diploma with 7 years' experience, in the respective specialty after PG.

Qualification: MBBS and PG Degree or PG Diploma required. If PG candidates are not available, MBBS candidates with 2 years' experience after MBBS — of which 1 year must be in the concerned specialty from a government or reputed private hospital — may be considered. PG doctors will be given preference in Casualty and Surgery departments. Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency from any Government Institute need not appear for interview for the post of Senior Resident (reproduced exactly as issued — the source does not elaborate on the alternative process for such candidates).
Duties & Remuneration: Work as per ESIC Senior Residency norms; remuneration paid per orders issued by ESIC Headquarters from time to time.

General Instructions to Candidates
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates must produce a valid caste certificate issued by a competent authority not below the rank of Tahsildar/Sub Divisional Officer, per DOPT Circular, GOI No.36039/1/2019 dated 31.01.2019. The OBC certificate must be in the prescribed form as per Government of India instructions, certifying the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer.
- Private practice of any kind will not be allowed for FTS.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the walk-in interview.
- Vacancies indicated above may change as per actual requirement on the date of interview.
- Canvassing in any form shall result in disqualification.

- Candidates retired from a State/Central Government hospital must submit their Pension Payment Order and the pay slip of the last pay drawn during their service.

Terms & Conditions — Full Time Contract Specialists
- Specialist shall be recruited for a period of 3 years, with annual evaluation; the term is renewed each year based on satisfactory performance.
- Private practice will not be allowed.
- Must be available on call 24x7.
- The specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under their supervision, within their discipline.
- Entitled to 4 days' leave per month of work (pro-rata basis over a calendar year). If leave is not availed, it may be encashed up to a maximum of 30 days per year.
- The selected specialist must have a Professional Indemnity Policy covering the period desired by ESIC, covering professional liability from errors and omissions committed while rendering professional services. Minimum annual sum assured:
- ₹30 lakh — Anaesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, etc.
- ₹20 lakh — General Surgeons, Gynaecologists, Obstetricians, etc.
- ₹10 lakh — Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists, etc.
Terms & Conditions — Part Time Contract Specialists
- Period of contract: one year from the date of joining.
- Minimum working hours: 16 per week (4 hours x 4 days/week).
- Not entitled to any kind of leave or benefit.
- Available on call 24x7 for those willing to draw emergency call charges.
- The specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under their supervision, within their discipline.
- Same Professional Indemnity Policy requirement as Full Time Contract Specialists above (same sum-assured tiers), with the policy/premium/receipt copy submitted within 7 days of engagement.
