What Is This Recruitment About?

The Office of the District Programme Officer, Bal Vikas, Bareilly, has released a notification inviting online applications from eligible female candidates for 174 honorarium-based vacant posts of Anganwadi Karyakartri (Worker), under Bal Vikas Pariyojnas operating in urban and rural areas of Bareilly district across 16 projects — Aalampur Jafarabad, Baheri, Bhadpura, Bhojipura, Bhuta, Bithri Chainpur, Damkheda (Richha), Faridpur, Fatehganj Paschimi, Kyara, Majhgawan, Mirganj, Nawabganj, Ramnagar, Sherghad, and Bareilly Nagar/Shahar. Eligibility Criteria

  • Gender: Only female candidates are eligible.
  • Educational Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (12th) or equivalent; maximum qualification considered is postgraduate.
  • Age: Minimum 18 years, maximum 35 years, cut-off date 01 July 2026. Only the date of birth in the High School marksheet/certificate is valid.
  • Residency: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the Ward/Gram Sabha of the vacant post applied for. If no eligible candidate is available in that Gram Sabha, residency in the concerned Nyay Panchayat becomes acceptable. For urban-area applications, the relevant ward number/name must be mandatorily mentioned in the online residence certificate.

Selection Preference (Priority Order)

First preference group — families living below the poverty line, resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward:

  1. Widow woman of a below-poverty-line family
  2. Legally divorced or abandoned (parityakta) woman of a below-poverty-line family
  3. If no widow/divorced/abandoned candidate is available, any woman from a below-poverty-line family in that Gram Sabha/Ward

If no candidate is found in the above group, the same preference order applies to families living above the poverty line:

  1. Widow woman of an above-poverty-line family
  2. Legally divorced or abandoned woman of an above-poverty-line family
  3. If no widow/divorced/abandoned candidate is available, any woman from an above-poverty-line family in that Gram Sabha/Ward

Documents & Certificate Rules

  • Widow status: Death certificate and an attested copy of the family register, issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay, accepted.
  • Divorced/abandoned status: A legal order issued by a competent court accepted.
  • Income certificate: Only certificates from the competent level per UP Govt Revenue Section-9 GO No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 30.09.2021 (as amended), verifiable online, are accepted. Income certificates issued more than 3 years before the notification date are not valid.
  • Residence & caste certificates: Only certificates issued via online digital signature from the Tehsil, verifiable online, are accepted.
  • BPL income limit (this notification specifies exact figures): ₹46,080 for rural areas and ₹56,460 for urban areas — per Samaj Kalyan Anubhag-2 GO No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2025 dated 14 September 2015 (as amended).
