Selection Procedure

Application Scrutiny → Online Test (if conducted) → Psychometric Test and/or Personal Interview (PI) → Group Discussion (if applicable). The Bank reserves full discretion to change, cancel, modify, or add to selection criteria/methods at any stage.

Tentative Online Test Structure (if conducted)

SectionQuestionsMax MarksVersion
Reasoning2525Bilingual
English Language2525English
Quantitative Aptitude2525Bilingual
Professional Knowledge75150Bilingual
Total150225150 minutes

Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge are bilingual (English/Hindi); English Language is English-only. Sections 1-3 (Reasoning/English/Quant) are qualifying only — not counted for final result. 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer (no penalty for blanks). Minimum qualifying marks per section decided at the Bank's sole discretion, which may also waive qualifying criteria.

Exam Centres (Tentative)

Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar, Bangalore, Bareilly, Baroda, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh-Mohali, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi/NCR, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hamirpur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane/MMR, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Pune, Raipur, Vishakhapatnam. Centres are subject to change based on administrative feasibility and application volume; final allotment is communicated via call letter. No request for change of centre is entertained.

Psychometric Test / Personal Interview (PI)

  • Candidates need a minimum score in each online test section and a minimum aggregate to be shortlisted for Psychometric Assessment and/or PI.
  • Minimum qualifying marks for PI: 60% for General & EWS category, 55% for other Reserved categories (Bank reserves right to change).
  • Ties at the cut-off mark are ranked by age, descending (older candidates ranked higher).
  • PI assesses personality, communication, clarity, problem-solving, efficiency, willingness to work anywhere in India, and post suitability.
  • Bank may consider a candidate for a different position than applied for, provided they meet that position's eligibility.

Scribe & Compensatory Time (PwBD)

Available per GoI Office Memoranda (2013, 2018, 2022) to candidates with a certified writing limitation. Candidates arrange their own scribe (from a different academic stream, not a candidate themselves) at their own cost, and must indicate this in the online application. Compensatory time: 20 minutes/hour, but only for candidates registered for it — unregistered candidates get no concession. Locomotor disability/cerebral palsy candidates (minimum 40% impairment affecting dominant writing hand) get the same 20 min/hour. Visually Impaired candidates (40%+ disability) may view test content in magnified font with the same compensatory time — this magnified-font option is unavailable to VI candidates who use a scribe instead.

Biometric Data & Misconduct

Right thumb impression and/or IRIS scan, plus photograph, are captured/verified before the exam, after the exam, at interview, and at joining. Candidates should ensure fingers are clean, dry, and free of ink/mehendi/coloring before capture. Misconduct (unfair means, impersonation, misbehavior, disclosing exam content, irregular means, or carrying mobile phones/communication devices) can lead to disqualification, debarment from future Bank exams, and criminal prosecution — including retrospective disqualification if response-pattern analysis later reveals shared/non-genuine answers.

Call Letters & Identity Verification

Sent only to the registered email — no hard copies by post/courier. Valid photo ID (PAN/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter Card/Bank Passbook with photo, or Gazetted Officer/People's Representative-attested ID, or Aadhaar with photo, or Employee ID) required at exam and interview — Ration Card is not accepted. Candidates who've changed their name need an original Gazette notification, marriage certificate, or affidavit showing the new name.

Documents Required at Interview

Originals plus self-attested photocopies of: valid interview call letter, system-generated application printout, Date of Birth proof, photo ID, individual semester/year mark sheets and final degree/diploma certificate, Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC, GoI-prescribed format — OBC must carry the Non-Creamy-Layer clause, valid as on interview date, issued within one year of the advertisement date), Disability Certificate (District Medical Board format, for PwBD), Ex-serviceman's Service/Discharge Book with pension order and rank proof, 1984 Riot-Affected Persons relief certificate (if claiming that relaxation), NOC from current employer (for Govt./PSU/Nationalised Bank/Financial Institution staff), Government of India eligibility certificate (for Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan-refugee/certain-country-migrant categories), and experience-supporting documents (appointment letter, salary slip, relieving letter). Non-production of required documents at interview makes the candidate ineligible for further process — no documents should be sent to the Bank separately.

Competent Authority for SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificates: District Magistrate/Addl. DM/Collector/Dy. Commissioner/Addl. Dy. Commissioner/Dy. Collector/1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate/City Magistrate/Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Extra-Asst. Commissioner/Taluka Magistrate/Executive Magistrate, or Chief/Addl. Chief Presidency Magistrate, or Revenue Officer (not below Tehsildar), or Sub-Divisional Officer of the candidate's area. For PwBD: the District-level Medical Board (Chief Medical Officer, Sub-Divisional Medical Officer, plus an Orthopaedic/Ophthalmic/ENT Surgeon).

Chief General Manager – HRM, Bank of Baroda, Mumbai — notification dated 06.08.2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. How many total posts and vacancies are there?
22 distinct positions across 6 departments, totaling 206 vacancies (New Vacancies + Unfilled Vacancies carried over from prior recruitment cycles).

Q2. What is the application fee?
₹850 + payment gateway charges for General/EWS/OBC; ₹175 + payment gateway charges for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen/Women.

Q3. Is there a written exam for all posts?
Only if the Bank decides to conduct one — the selection process is Application Scrutiny → Online Test (if conducted) → Psychometric Test and/or Interview. The online test structure given is described as "tentative."

Q4. Can I apply for more than one position?
The notification doesn't explicitly prohibit applying to different positions, but only one application per candidate is allowed per selection process, and post-qualification eligibility is assessed strictly per the specific position applied for.

Q5. What's the difference between "New Vacancies" and "Unfilled Vacancies" in the table?
New Vacancies are fresh openings for this cycle; Unfilled Vacancies are carried over from previous BOB recruitment exercises where those reserved-category seats weren't filled.

Q6. Is there reservation for Ex-Servicemen?
No — the notification explicitly states there is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen in the Officers' Cadre, though the Manager-Security post has a service-background eligibility route (Army/Navy/Air Force/Police/Paramilitary) separate from caste-based reservation.
