📝 Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting for Main Exam: Based on the normalized score of PET-2025. UPSSSC will shortlist candidates up to the cut‑off marks.
  2. Main Examination (Written Objective): A single paper of 100 marks, 2 hours duration. Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer. Syllabus includes History & Indian National Movement, Geography, Economic & Social Development, Indian Polity, General Science, Environmental Ecology, Current Events, Data Interpretation, Excise‑related legal provisions, Computer & IT, and UP General Knowledge.
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Conducted by UPSSSC after the written exam. Only those who qualify the written exam (meet the cut‑off) will be called. PST/PET is qualifying.
  4. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the written exam and PST/PET will be called for verification of original certificates.

  • If the application form does not appear after fee payment, it means the fee has not been adjusted. Use the “Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification” option to reconcile.
  • Fee adjustment and modification of application details (address, EWS, horizontal reservation, marital status, etc.) are allowed only until 01 July 2026. No changes after that.
  • Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation.
