Question No. 72 in Set 'A' of General Studies Paper‑I has been dropped from valuation because the printed temperature value “27° C” was incorrectly printed instead of “~27° C”. The marks for this question shall be prorated (i.e., the total marks will be distributed among the remaining questions). Candidates need not raise objections for this question as it will be automatically excluded from scoring.

📝 How to Raise Objections Against Provisional Answer Keys

  1. Visit the online objection portal: https://opsccechayan.in.
  2. Log in using your credentials (Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password).
  3. Navigate to the “Provisional Answer Key Challenge” module for OCS Preliminary 2025.
  4. Important: Objections must be submitted only with reference to the Set 'A' question booklet. Mention the question number as per Set 'A'.
  5. For each objection, provide a clear justification and upload at least two authentic source documents (e.g., standard textbook pages, government reports, peer‑reviewed publications) in PDF format.

A Committee of Experts will review all valid objections received. After due consideration, the Final Answer Keys will be prepared and published on the OPSC website. The final keys will be used to evaluate the OMR sheets and prepare the result of the Preliminary Examination. Candidates who qualify in the Prelims will be called for the Main Written Examination.

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): Conducted on 07 June 2026. Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (CSAT). Paper II is qualifying in nature (33% marks required).
  2. Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type): Candidates who clear the Prelims will be called for the Main exam, which has 9 papers (compulsory and optional subjects).
  3. Personality Test (Interview): Final stage with 275 marks.
