Educational Qualification
Advertisement में full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering तथा listed Mechanical/Production/Production & Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Railways/Mechatronics & Automobile-related Engineering/Technology streams और उनके specified combinations दिए हैं।
अपनी degree का exact title official qualification row से मिलाएँ। Listed branches की wording या combination के बारे में doubt हो तो RITES से clarification लें; किसी अन्य branch को स्वतः equivalent न मानें।
- यह vacancy UR है; consideration के लिए first-class degree/minimum 60% marks की condition लागू है।
- Reserved-category candidates भी UR vacancy पर इसी qualification standard के अनुसार consider होंगे।
- Recognised qualification आवश्यक है। Advertisement prescribed recognition conditions पूरी करने वाले Institution of Engineers (India) के Sections A & B examination को भी स्वीकार करता है।

Required Experience: किन कामों का प्रमाण चाहिए?
Minimum six years का post-qualification experience bulk material handling systems को design और optimise करने में होना चाहिए। Advertisement में निम्न capabilities स्पष्ट हैं:
- Process flow diagrams बनाना।
- Capacity calculations और optimisation studies।
- Conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders/unloaders, silos, wagon tipplers और rapid loading systems की समझ।
- Feasibility से commissioning तक project lifecycle management।
- Cost estimation, budgeting और CAPEX/OPEX lifecycle analysis।
Experience Proof: Offer Letter अकेला पर्याप्त नहीं
हर claimed period के documents chronological order में रखें। Advertisement के general instructions स्पष्ट करते हैं कि offer letter अकेला experience proof नहीं है। Joining/relieving order या experience certificate जैसे records जरूरी हैं।

Age Limit and PwBD Provisions
Maximum age 40 years है, जिसकी गणना 2 November 2026 से होगी। SC/ST/OBC category relaxation को इस UR vacancy पर स्वतः लागू न मानें।
Advertisement eligible PwBD candidates को identified suitable post पर reservation न होने के बावजूद upper-age relaxation देता है। इस post के लिए Locomotor Disability—OA (One Arm), OL (One Leg) classifications listed हैं। Relevant benchmark disability कम-से-कम 40% तथा prescribed functional/physical requirements पूरी होनी चाहिए।

Application Fee and Conditional Refund

Salary, Benefits and Contract Conditions
IDA pay scale ₹60,000–₹1,80,000 है। Advertisement basic pay, DA, basic pay के 23% की fixed/variable allowances, applicable HRA/lease, PF contribution और gratuity का provision देता है। Other benefits contract-employee rules के अनुसार हैं।

1. Fundamentals of Bulk Material Handling
Bulk density, angle of repose/surcharge, moisture content, particle-size distribution, ore/coal/limestone/ash classification तथा mass flow और funnel flow।
2. Crushing Systems
Jaw, gyratory, cone, impact, hammer और roll crushers; working principles, application selection, reduction ratio, throughput/capacity calculation, primary/secondary/tertiary layouts, hoppers/feeders/screens, open/closed circuits तथा hardness, abrasiveness और moisture-based selection।
3. Belt and Pipe Conveyor Design
Capacity, speed, idler spacing, troughing angle और TPH calculations; pipe conveyor filling factor, diameter, overlap, hexagonal idlers, horizontal/vertical curves; route alignment, transfer chutes, belt grade/fire resistance, splicing, take-up systems, skirt boards, cleaners और trippers/plough discharge।
4. Storage and Stockpile Systems
Longitudinal/circular stockpiles, chevron/cone-shell arrangements, storage capacity, blending, tunnel/belt-feeder reclaim, bucket-wheel reclaimers, front-end loaders, live/dead storage और angle-of-repose effects।
5. Wagon Tipplers and Rapid Loading Systems
Side-discharge/rotary tipplers, cycle time, throughput, wagon positioners/indexers, track layouts, silo-to-wagon loading, in-motion loading/weighing, automation तथा Indian Railways siding/RDSO interfaces और BOXN/BOBRN rake awareness।
6. Stackers, Reclaimers and Ship Handling Equipment
Luffing/slewing/travelling stackers, bucket-wheel/bridge/scraper/drum reclaimers, combined stacker-reclaimers, ship loaders, grab/continuous/pneumatic unloaders, commodity suitability, berth length, vessel draft और demurrage-related loading-rate considerations।
7. Silo Design
Mass-flow/funnel-flow classification, hopper angles, storage capacity, live/dead storage, vibrators, air cannons, live-bottom feeders तथा diameter, height, hopper geometry और bulk density से approximate capacity calculation।
8. Ash Handling Plant
Wet/dry bottom-ash systems, jet pumps, hydro-bins, submerged scraper conveyors, vacuum/pressure pneumatic fly-ash conveying, ESP hopper evacuation, slurry disposal, dry ash silo storage और bulk loading।
