How to Decide Your SSC CHT Preference Order
There is no single “best preference list” for every candidate. Your order should be based on eligibility and your genuine willingness to accept each post.

Check qualification, category certificates, PwBD suitability, physical requirements and medical requirements where applicable. -
Check Level-6 and Level-7 posts separately.
The S26–S29 posts are Level-7 posts. A higher Pay Level does not automatically make a post the correct first preference. -
Decide which department you would genuinely prefer.
Ask yourself whether you would actually join the post if SSC allotted it. -
Use vacancy count only as one factor.
More vacancies can matter for allocation probability, but vacancy count must not override eligibility or suitability. -

🚨 Biggest Eligibility Trap in the SSC CHT Preference Form
A higher preference for which you cannot prove eligibility can cost you the selection.
The declaration in SSC's Sample Option Form states that if a post/department is allocated and the candidate later fails to produce the required documentary proof of eligibility for that post, candidature may be cancelled.
