The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), under the Ministry of Railways, have issued Corrigendum-1 for Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 04/2026. The original notice covered recruitment for Junior Engineer (JE) and Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) posts. The corrigendum adds Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) as a brand-new post, adds one Junior Engineer/Electrical/TRS vacancy, inserts the CMA syllabus, and adds Medical Standard B-2.

  • Read the original CEN together with Corrigendum-1 — it modifies the title, vacancy count, medical standard, DMS exam-group note, and CMA syllabus.
  • Do not select CMA unless you satisfy the prescribed B.Sc. Physics and Chemistry qualification, marks, and subject combination.
  • DMS applicants whose qualifying discipline isn't shown in the chart must choose an applicable Exam Group other than CMA, per amended Note (b) of Para 13.3.
  • Medical fitness is mandatory; appointment is not shifted to another post if a candidate is found medically unsuitable for the allotted post.
  • Your chosen RRB and account details cannot ordinarily be changed later — enter them carefully.
