About ESIC and the Post

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Sector-24, Noida, is inviting applications for the recruitment of Senior Residents on a contractual basis. This is a golden opportunity for medical professionals with PG/Super Specialty degrees to work in a premier government healthcare institution.

Eligibility Criteria

• For Pre-Para & Clinical Departments: PG Degree, DNB, or equivalent in the concerned specialty from a government-recognized University/Institution.
• For Super Specialty Departments: MCh, DM, DrNB, or FNB in the concerned specialty from a government-recognized University/Institution. (Note: In case of non-availability of candidates possessing MCh/DM/DrNB/FNB, qualification from the concerned parent broad specialty will be considered).
• Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 45 years as on the date of the interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Ex-Servicemen/PWD will be given as per government rules.
• Domicile/Reservation: Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS must produce original certificates in the prescribed format of the Government of India.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Consolidated Monthly Pay: A fixed remuneration of ₹1,48,669/- per month, which may be revised from time to time as per ESIC Headquarters' orders.
• Duties: To work as per ESIC norms for Senior Residents. Selected candidates for Pediatrics/NICU will perform duties as per the roster prepared by the HOD. Similarly, Anesthesia/ICU candidates will follow their respective departmental rosters.

Tenure & Contract Terms

• Duration: The initial contract is for a period of one year. It may be extended up to 03 years subject to renewal/extension every year based on satisfactory performance and the requirement of the institute.
• No Regularization: The recruitments are purely on a contractual basis. Selected candidates will have no claim to regularization of service in the hospital.
• No Private Practice: Private practice of any kind will not be allowed during the tenure of the engagement.
• Security Deposit: Selected candidates must furnish a Demand Draft (DD) for ₹30,000/- drawn in favor of "ESI Fund Account No. 1" payable at Noida, towards a security deposit at the time of joining. This amount will be forfeited if the candidate resigns or terminates the contract within 06 months of commencement, with or without prior notice.
• Multiple Engagements Bar: Engagement of one contractual employee in two ESIC Hospitals/Medical Institutions at the same time is not permissible.
