About the Recruitment

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the online application process and subsequent examinations for the recruitment of Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager posts in the District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) of Andhra Pradesh. This is a golden opportunity for candidates aspiring for a stable banking career in the cooperative sector.

Important Points Before You Begin

Before starting your online application, candidates must prepare the following to ensure a smooth and error-free registration process:

  • Scanned Documents: You must have scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature (in black ink), left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink), and a hand-written declaration.
  • Email and Mobile Number: A valid, personal email ID and mobile number are mandatory. These must be kept active throughout the entire recruitment process, as IBPS will send all future communications (including call letters for the exam) via these channels.
  • Payment Details: Keep your Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI details ready for the online fee payment.

Application Fee

The application fee/intimation charges are non-refundable. Candidates can make the payment online through the integrated payment gateway. Bank transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidate themselves.

How to Apply for IBPS DCCB AP Posts – Step-by-Step Guide

Candidates are strictly advised to follow the detailed procedure outlined below to complete their online registration successfully. No other mode of application (offline, email, or post) will be accepted.

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Step 3: Fill in Personal Details

  1. Enter your Name, Contact details, and Email ID carefully. Ensure the name is spelled exactly as it appears on your educational certificates and identity proof.
  2. Upon entering these details, the system will generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password. This will be displayed on the screen and also sent to your registered email and SMS. Note down this registration number and password immediately.

Step 4: Upload Photograph and Signature

  1. After saving your basic details, you will be directed to the section to upload your photograph and signature.
  2. Click on the respective links to upload the scanned images. Ensure they strictly adhere to the size and dimension specifications detailed in the next section of this guide.

Step 5: Fill in Other Details

  1. Proceed to fill in the remaining fields of the application form, including educational qualifications, category, and other personal information.
  2. Use the "SAVE AND NEXT" feature to save your progress at any stage. This allows you to review and modify the details before final submission.

  2. After successful payment, click on the "Submit" button. Take a printout of the final application form and the fee receipt for your future reference.

Important Note on Multiple Applications

Candidates who wish to apply for both Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager posts must register separately for each post by selecting the appropriate post in the application. For the same post, only the last application submitted will be considered valid; fees for all other applications will be forfeited. Candidates must apply against only one DCCB and must not submit separate applications for different DCCBs for the same post, as the exam for all DCCBs is conducted on the same day.

Document Scanning & Upload Guidelines – Strict Specifications

One of the most critical steps in the online application is the uploading of the photograph, signature, thumb impression, and declaration. The IBPS has laid down very strict specifications. Applications with unclear or improperly formatted documents will be rejected.

A. Photograph Specifications

  • Image Type: Recent passport-style color photograph.
  • Background: Light-coloured (preferably white). Ensure there are no harsh shadows.
  • Face: Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face. Religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover the face. Caps, hats, and dark glasses are strictly forbidden.
  • Dimensions: 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).
  • File Size: Between 20 KB and 50 KB.
  • Live Photo Capture: Along with the scanned image, candidates must also capture and upload a live photograph using their webcam or mobile phone. The portal provides options to "Capture Photo" (using webcam) or "Scan" (using a QR code via mobile). The photograph must be clear, against a light background, and passport-sized.

B. Signature Specifications

  • Writing Material: Sign on plain white paper using a black ink pen.
  • Format: Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted. It must be a proper cursive or handwritten signature.
  • Dimensions: 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
  • File Size: Between 10 KB and 20 KB.
  • Importance: The signature uploaded must match the one signed on the attendance sheet and call letter at the time of the examination. Mismatches will lead to disqualification.

C. Left Thumb Impression Specifications

  • Format: Place your left thumb impression on white paper using black or blue ink. Ensure it is clear and not smudged. If a candidate does not have a left thumb, the right thumb may be used.
  • Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels (in 200 DPI) i.e., approximately 3 cm x 3 cm.
  • File Size: Between 20 KB and 50 KB.

D. Hand-written Declaration Specifications

  • Text: The declaration must be hand-written in English only on white paper using black ink. The exact text is:

"(Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."

  • Handwriting Requirement: The declaration must be in the candidate's own handwriting. If written by anyone else, the application will be considered invalid.
  • Visually Impaired Candidates: Visually impaired candidates who cannot write may get the text typed and place their left-hand thumb impression below the typed declaration, then upload it.
  • File Format: JPG or JPEG.
  • Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels (in 200 DPI) i.e., approximately 10 cm x 5 cm.
  • File Size: Between 50 KB and 100 KB.

Tips for Scanning Documents

  • Set the scanner resolution to at least 200 DPI.
  • Set colour to True Colour.
  • Save files in .jpg or .jpeg format.
  • Crop the image to the edge of the document to ensure the final size is correct.
  • Preview the uploaded image in the application form to ensure it is clear and visible. If unclear, re-upload immediately before final submission.

⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING – READ CAREFULLY

  • Strict Deadline: The online application portal will be open only from 24 July 2026 to 07 August 2026. No applications will be accepted after the closing date.
  • No CAPITAL Letters in Signature: Signatures in CAPITAL LETTERS will be rejected. Ensure your signature is in a standard cursive/handwritten style.
  • Hand-written Declaration must be Self-Written: The declaration text must be written by the candidate themselves in English. If written by someone else, the candidature will be invalid.
  • One DCCB per Post: You can only apply for one DCCB for a particular post. Submitting multiple applications for the same post across different DCCBs will lead to forfeiture of fees and cancellation of candidature.
  • Only the Last Application is Valid: For the same post, if you register multiple times, only the last completed application will be considered. All prior fees will be forfeited.
  • No Edits After Final Submission: Once you click the "COMPLETE REGISTRATION" button, no changes can be made. Use the "Save and Next" facility to verify everything thoroughly before final submission.
  • Keep Your Credentials Safe: Save the Provisional Registration Number and Password. You will need them to log in again for future processes, including downloading call letters.
  • Apply Early: Do not wait until the last day. Heavy website traffic or server issues on the final day may prevent you from submitting your application.
