🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit (as on closing date 07 July 2026)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 28 years
• Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC – 3 years; Departmental Central Government employees – up to 40 years (General/OBC) and 45 years (SC/ST); Ex‑Servicemen – deduction of military service plus additional 3 years.

Educational Qualification

• ASI (Pharmacist): 10+2 from a recognized Board + Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution + registered as “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
• ASI (X-Ray Technician): 10+2 from a recognized Board + 2‑year Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution.
• ASI (Lab Technician): 10+2 (with Science) from a recognized Board + 2‑year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.

For Ex‑Servicemen (Pharmacist only): 10+2 or equivalent with 15 years of service + Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy (Army University or recognized institute).

🏃 Physical Standards (PST)

Only shortlisted candidates after written exam will undergo PST (height, chest, weight). Standards are as follows:

🩺 Medical Standards

• Candidates must be in good physical and mental health, free from any defect likely to interfere with duty.
• No knock knees, flat foot, varicose veins, squint in eyes.
• Tattoos: Permitted only on traditional sites (inner forearm, dorsum of hands), depicting religious symbols or name, size less than 1/4 of the body part.
• Medical examination will be conducted by Medical Boards as per CAPF guidelines.

💳 Application Fee

• UR / EWS / OBC: ₹100 (non‑refundable)
• SC / ST / ESM / Female candidates: Nil (exempted)
• Payment modes: Online (Net Banking, Credit/Debit/Rupay Card, UPI) OR Cash at SBI branches via challan (challan generated by 07 July, payment by 09 July).
• Transaction charges/taxes are to be borne by the candidate.

📝 Selection Process (Stages)

1. Written Examination (OMR/CBT): 100 marks, objective type, bilingual (Hindi/English), 2 hours duration, no negative marking. Questions based on the respective trade.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Verification of height, chest (male only), and weight. Qualifying only.
3. Documentation: Scrutiny of original certificates.
4. Basic Vocational Aptitude Test (BVAT): Qualifier in nature to assess job suitability.
5. Medical Examination (DME/RME): As per CAPF medical standards. Unfit candidates may appeal for Review Medical Examination (RME).
6. Final Merit List: Based on written examination marks (after qualifying all other stages). Tie resolved by age (older preference), then height, then educational qualification, then alphabetical order.

Approximately 5 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for PST/DV/BVAT/Medical.

• Total Marks: 100

• Type: Objective (Multiple Choice) – OMR or CBT mode
• Language: Hindi & English (bilingual)

• Topics: Questions will test knowledge in the respective trade (Pharmacy, Radiography, Lab Technology) as per the educational curriculum.
• Normalization: If conducted in multiple shifts, marks will be normalized using a standard formula.
• Tentative Answer Keys: Will be displayed on the CISF website for challenge (with fee). Final answer keys after expert review.

📱 How to Apply Online for CISF ASI Recruitment 2026

1. Visit the official CISF recruitment website: https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in/.
2. Click on “Login” → “New Registration” to complete One‑Time Registration (OTR). Provide personal details (name as per Matriculation, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email). A Registration ID and password will be sent to email/mobile.
3. Log in with the credentials. Click on “Recruitment of Paramedical Staff in CISF – 2026”.
4. Fill the detailed application form (personal, educational, contact details).
5. Upload scanned photograph (JPEG, 20‑50 KB, 3.5cm x 4.5cm, with date printed) and signature (JPEG, 10‑20 KB, 4.0cm x 2.0cm).
6. Upload scanned copies of Date of Birth certificate (Matric/10th) and educational qualification certificates (PDF, max 1 MB each).
7. Preview the application, then proceed to payment (if applicable).
8. Pay fee online (Net Banking, Card, UPI) or generate SBI challan for cash payment.
9. After successful payment, download and print the application form for future reference.
