Special Stream: Based on merit and qualification during training at INA, 07 candidates from the Mechanical Engineering stream will be streamed to B.Tech in Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding at NCW, Kochi.

🎂 Age Limit
Candidates must be born between 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive). Only unmarried men and women candidates fulfilling nationality conditions laid down by the Government of India are eligible.
🎓 Educational Qualification
- Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or equivalent from a recognised Board.
- Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
- Minimum 50% marks in English (either Class X or Class XII).
- Must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2026 exam (for B.E/B.Tech).
🩺 Medical Standards
All SSB-recommended candidates must undergo medical examination as applicable to 10+2 (B.Tech) entry. Candidates already declared medically fit for NDA/INA Jan 27 need not undergo a repeat medical. - Shortlisting: Naval Headquarters reserves the right to fix cut-off based on JEE (Main) 2026 All India Common Rank List (CRL).
- SSB Interview: Conducted at Bengaluru / Bhopal / Kolkata / Visakhapatnam from September 2026 onwards. Change of SSB centre is not permissible.

On commissioning, candidates serve as Permanent Commissioned Officers in the Technical Branches of the Indian Navy.
