No. The UPSC Syllabus 2026 has no major changes from previous years. It remains consistent. The syllabus for Prelims GS, CSAT and Mains GS 1-4 is the same as 2025.
Q2. Is CSAT qualifying in UPSC Prelims 2026?
Yes. CSAT (Paper 2) is qualifying only. Candidates must score minimum 33% (66 marks out of 200). CSAT marks are NOT counted in Prelims merit list — only GS Paper 1 marks are counted.
