📌 Tripura Forest Department Recruitment 2026 – Overview

The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Tripura Forest Department, has released a major recruitment notification (Advt No. F.2(387)/Estt./For-2024-25) for the recruitment of uniformed forest field staff. A total of 271 vacancies have been announced — 104 posts of Forester (Group-C, Level-7) and 167 posts of Forest Guard (Group-C, Level-6) — to be posted across all eight districts of Tripura: South Tripura, Gomati, Sepahijala, West Tripura, Khowai, Dhalai, Unakoti and North Tripura.

The online application window will be open from 01 May 2026 to 31 May 2026 (5:30 PM) through the official portal forestrecruitment.tripura.gov.in. Candidates must possess a valid Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) as mandatory domicile requirement as per the GA(P&T) Department Notification. 🎓 Educational Qualification

The selection will involve the following stages:
